>>EXPERIMENTA VANISHING POINT:: Seminar
Presentation by Liz Hughes, Artistic Director
In conjunction with the 2006 AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright
Young Things and supported by Arts WA, Artistic Director of Experimenta, Liz
Hughes, presents a seminar on media arts especially developed for educators.
Featuring miniature worlds, journeys through space and time, and photographs
that come to life, Experimenta Vanishing Point is an exhibition of artworks
that you can touch, walk on, and play with; art like you’ve never
experienced before. The exhibition showcases the work of Australian and
international digital media artists, filmmakers, scientists, video artists,
animators, and sound artists who work with a range of interactive and
screen-based media. The artworks transform the banal into the extraordinary
and challenge you to see reality from different perspectives.
