TRASH is an interactive web project that explores themes of waste and cultural residue. These works, featuring Australian and international artists and theorists, range from text to visual and sound responses. All consider the excesses of contemporary culture in an engaging and meaningful way.

What is considered trash? What is considered worthy of retention and remembering? TRASH investigates the individual and community responses to waste to reveal that we can learn a lot about a society from the products and ideas it discards.
