EXPERIMENTOPIA - 2009 International Biennial of Media Arts

In May Experimenta invited Australian artists to submit proposals for commissioned artworks to be included in our next exhibition of exceptional Australian and international media artworks. The call out urged artists to "look closely at your surroundings, both local and global, and consider what would you fight for? What would you fight to prevent? What are you willing to put yourself on the line to protect or create? What is that world, neighbourhood, landscape, or object? And how does it look, sound, and feel?"

Applications for commissioned artworks for EXPERIMENTOPIA have now closed. Successful applicants will be notified by email and the projects will be announced after 29 August.
